Solar plants currently contain several issues such as high cost, low efficiency due to low operating temperatures, power storage issues, and round-the-clock power generation. GAP Solar aims at solving all these issues with innovative ideas. We have created a concentrated solar thermal plant that aims at increasing the power output generated at a very low cost. We also solve the power storage issue which is cost-effective and innovative, this will help us in providing electricity around the clock easily.

GAP Solar aims at eliminating these issues with our patented technology of using dual-axis sun-tracking parabolic dishes instead of PV panels. The entire plant design has been patented and will operate at peak temperatures in excess of 1000K. Innovative ideas ensure that heat losses will be negligible even at these extreme temperatures. During the day, some of the energy will be stored in a heat storage unit consisting of sand and steel and the rest will be used to heat steam to drive a turbine at night energy will be extracted from the heat storage unit for round the clock electricity generation. We increase the efficiency of the plant by reducing heat loss at every step possible and we use innovative designs to operate the plant at very high temperatures.

Since our technology is new and patented no one is currently doing it. However, there are various players in the solar energy segment.
We beat those existing players by providing higher efficiencies and working on high temperatures that they cannot. We also cracked the code to provide 24*7 power with ease and be economical at the same time.

We plan on generating revenue by creating very large-scale concentrated solar thermal power plants and providing electricity at a low cost to the grid. Since this will be done on a global scale, we will have revenue, not just from India, but from many countries. We will also have the option of licensing the rights for all or parts of the patented features to companies that may want to use certain aspects of the patents for various other uses. We will also be generating significant amounts of waste heat and steam which can be sold to nearby industries for use in various processes. From excess electricity, green hydrogen can also be generated for use in industries and automobiles. In addition, we will get Carbon credits which can be sold in the markets.
