Problem or Opportunity
Most consumers prefer the local market or their favourite shop to make a purchase. As current online and offline shopping experiences are disconnected and non-personalized, finding the best product from the local market is a pain.
Currently, consumers need instant gratification and ease in moving between physical and online shopping experiences. This massive gap between the offline and online world decreases revenue, operational efficiency and customer retention for retailers from the local market.
Solution (product or service)
GetQuik is building a digital medium where retailers and customers will be able to connect efficiently. Various shops will be listed along with all their products and customers will be able to explore and order anything from their favourite shop or the shops located in the nearby market at online convenience. GetQuik will also provide in-store pickup and a delivery system to ensure end-to-end delivery of products in 90 mins. i.e., A local shopping app for local shoppers.
Business model
Currently, we can go with two core revenue streams:
1) Commission - On each order, we can take 2% to 10% charges from retailers.
2) Delivery charge - At least 20 Rs as a Delivery charge from customers.
It’s hard to get retailers and customers to pay for things in India, but fortunately, we can still achieve pretty numbers in long term by keeping affordability in place.
In plans, we have planned membership, listing fees and advertisements as a revenue source.
